We currently distribute over one million pounds of inspected seafood weekly, all backed by our guarantee of freshness and quality.

Served with seafood sauce or drawn butter, our Dungeness Crab is known for its freshness and delicate sweet flavor. Side Dishes include salad and savory garlic bread, among others.  The season begins mid-November through mid-May.

Sales and Advertising

  • Set a sales goal for tickets to reach before the event
  • Advertise with flyers, posters and news announcements
  • Usual charge per ticket is $25 to $40, does not include beverages

Food Planning

  • When ordering, count on 1.25 lb cracked and cleaned crab (2.5 lbs whole crab) per person
  • We will crack and clean the crab meat for you prior to shipping
  • Use attendants to serve crab portions
  • First course should be 3/4 lb of crab meat, with another 1/2 lb for seconds
  • Bibs and Crab Crackers are supplied to each guest
  • Serve with drawn butter, Cocktail Sauce, Tartar Sauce or American Fish’s Spicy Cocktail Sauce
  • Suggestions for side dishes include garlic bread, green salad, baked beans or any easy to make, simple accompaniment

This in itself can be an enormous challenge, but our goal of providing only the best quality products requires American Fish and Seafood Company to voluntarily employee federal inspectors seven days a week to monitor plant conditions, plant sanitation, label review, and laboratory analysis of all our products. The National Marine Fisheries Service, a part of the U.S. Department of Commerce (USDC), also helps in the administration of the seafood inspection program at American Fish and Seafood Company.

Our Distribution Process

The American Fish and Seafood Company network currently operates six (6) large distribution/operation facilities to provide the logistic capabilities to deliver any kind of fresh or frozen seafood product, anywhere, in the freshest possible condition.

Each distribution center handles specific seafood products matched to their region and/or to the market driven needs. American Fish and Seafood Company locations are designed to meet their local customer's needs and are designed to be a part of the total product network.

Integrating the processes of harvesting, processing a distribution requires a complex system of data analysis and information gathering. Whether it is tray packaging, or bulk packaging frozen products, all are well insulated and maintained at consistent temperatures until they are delivered to you.
